So because I couldn’t find anything, I decided to make my version.
My version of this easy dessert is not going to be inflammatory or bad for me and my children.
What this recipe doesn’t have: oreo cookies (oreo crumbs), cool whip, Milano cookies, cream cheese, instant pudding mix, powdered sugar, fruit juice, heavy cream, or whipped cream.

To make this Halloween worm dirt recipe, ingredients will be split up into sections since we have to make everything from scratch.
I will make sure it’s all organized and you know what you need for everything.
Ingredients
Chocolate Pudding
- 2 avocados
- 1/3 cup cacao powder
- ½ cup plain yogurt
- Half a cup of chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup of maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
- A pinch of salt
Gummy Worms
- 1 cup strawberries
- 2 mangoes
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 3 tbs Grass-fed gelatin
Instructions
Chocolate pudding
Add all the ingredients to a food processor or electric mixer.
Melt chocolate chips by placing your chocolate chips in a glass bowl or any other microwave-safe bowl then add the coconut oil as well.
Melt your chocolate in the microwave for a double boiler.
If using the microwave, heat the chocolate in 30-second increments until you heat for 1 minute making sure you don’t burn the chocolate.
Blend melted chocolate in the recipe so you can have a smooth consistency that looks like pudding.
Gummy worm recipe
Cut up all your fruit and blend
Slowly add 1 tablespoon at a time of your gelatin.
Add coconut water into a saucepan until it boils the take of the heat.
Add 1 cup of the fruit purée into a saucepan and heat it on medium heat.
Stir your mixture until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Take it off the stove top let it cool a little and distribute your fruit mixture.
Fill molds in and place them in the freezer for 10 minutes
After 10 minutes, take out your gummy bears and slowly remove them from the mold.
Building worm in the dirt cup
Use individual cups of your choice to build your worm in a dirt cup. I like to use clear plastic cups or small mason jars.
Crush chocolate cookies into fine crumbs or thick crumbs into a cup
Scoop your homemade pudding into the bottom of the cup
Layer the cup with pudding, cookies, pudding, and cookies until you get to the top.
Add worms on top and if you like, add another layer of chocolate-crumbled cookies on top of the dirt cup.
You can add Halloween sprinkles, cookie tombstones, or any whipped topping you like.

- Add 1 cup of fruit mixture and incorporate.
- Fill molds and place them in the freezer for 10 minutes
- After 10 minutes, take out your gummy bears and slowly remove them from the mold.
Building worm in the dirt cup
- Add crushed chocolate cookies into fine crumbs or thick crumbs to a cup
- Scoop your homemade pudding into the bottom of the cup
- Layer the cup with cookies, pudding, cookies, etc until you get to the top.
- Add worms on top and if you like, add another layer of chocolate-crumbled cookies on top of the dirt cup.
