Unfortunately, these days many people are so busy that they sometimes settle for fast-food fried chicken. I can’t remember the last time I ate fast food.

For this reason, I’m glad I get to share this recipe with you so you won’t have to settle for fast-food fried chicken.
Ingredients
- Gluten-free breadcrumbs- My homemade breadcrumbs are made of 1/2 cup almond flour, 1/2 cup coconut flour, 2 tsp oregano, 2 tsp basil, 2 tsp rosemary, 2 tsp basil, 1 tbsp salt.
- Gluten-free flour- Using either gluten-free flour blend or arrowroot flour
- 2 eggs- This helps bind the flour to the chicken
- Garlic paste- Check out my from scratch garlic paste that gives this chicken great flavor.
- 9-12 pieces of bone Chicken- I use a lot of drum sticks but you can use all parts of the chicken.
- Olive oil- Either use olive oil or avocado oil to fry the chicken in a frying pan.

- Tongs (optional)
How to make gluten-free fried chicken
- Spread garlic paste on the outside of the chicken and set it aside.
- Start heating your frying pan with oil
- Mix the egg up in a bowl.
- In another bowl mix together gluten-free breadcrumbs
- The 3rd dish should have gluten-free flour.
- Dip the chicken in the egg and then slightly in the gluten-free flour.
- Last dip chicken in the gluten-free breadcrumbs.
- Add the chicken to a pan of oil. Flip it halfway through cooking. Keep cooking and flipping chicken until chicken is cooked through or when it reaches a temp of about 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Tips for making Gluten-free fried Chicken
- Be sure to use big enough dishes to fit the chicken when dipping it in egg and gluten-free all-purpose flour.
- Use 2 forks to help you spread the flour and gluten-free breadcrumbs on the chicken.
- Now If not enough gluten-free flour sticks on the chicken; place the chicken in the egg mix again to make the breadcrumb stick more.
Can I Avoid The Breading Falling Off The Chicken?
Tongs are handy to move the chicken around, letting the chicken get crispy on one side before flipping it to the other side.
Do not shake the chicken after you have breaded them. Make sure you stick the chicken in breadcrumbs as much as possible.
What Kind Of Oil Is Best For Frying?
Olive oil, avocado oil, and coconut oil are great healthy options for frying your gluten-free chicken.

How Long Is Fried Chicken Good For?
According to the USDA, fully cooked chicken should be eaten by at least the 4th day and should be frozen for up to 4 months.
Always remember to place cooked chicken in a container and stored it in a refrigerator if not being eaten.
