The Best Homemade & Simple Vegan Tortilla Recipe

Ingredients

cups
all-purpose flour
1/2
tsp
Himalayan pink salt
1
tsp
baking powder
2
tbsp
olive oil
1/2
cup
cold water
1
tbsp
of water at a time if needed
Instructions
Mix all the wet and dry ingredients in your bowl and combine.
While rolling your dough into a ball add 1 tbsp of water at a time if your dough is too dry
Cut your dough ball into smaller dough balls that are a little bigger than a size of a golf ball.
If you have a tortilla press, you can use it to help shape your dough. If not use a rolling pin to roll it out into a tortilla shape.
Heat your skillet to medium heat and place each tortilla dough one by one in a hot skillet. Cook each side for at least 1-3 minutes.
Before flipping your tortilla you need to see some bubbles and you’ll some nice brown spots (just like a tortilla will look from the grocery store.)
